Tecnomyl expanding distribution capacity to reach more Argentine producers

Tecnomyl, a company with national capitals, very young in the market and growing exponentially, has established itself as a leader in the development, production and commercialization of phytosanitary products in the last few years.

In addition, it offers a broad palette of solutions for all agricultural problems.

Gustavo Silva, the firm’s commercial manager, reviewed the main achievements made in recent months and counted their projections for 2022.

In 2021, the company increased its turnover by 70 percent, compared to the previous year. "This growth in sales was turned into investments, not only in technology and in the expansion of the production plant, but also in excellent human resources," the manager said.

Tecnomyl currently has its production plant in Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, and commercial offices in Buenos Aires.

The first Premium distribution network

The company is betting that the Argentine producer considers it a valuable organization that can supply high-quality phytosanitary products to the entire sector, fundamental for production and the national economy.

Within this framework, the firm launched this year the Austral Network, the first Premium distribution system, to reach all parts of the country on time.

“Today we are absolute leaders in the granulated atrazine market, with our Atramyl 90 WG formula, the only one of toxicological class IV or green band, that is, maximum toxicological safety. In addition, we consolidate ourselves in other products due to their certainty in supply, quality and technology, since we always look for formulations with low environmental impact and high performance,” Silva assured.

The commercial manager said that well into the planting of soybeans and corn, the company consolidated its line of non-selective herbicides, such as Helios Max, the only 40% concentrated glufosinate ammonium; other selective ones, such as Todym 24 EC (clethodim 24% EC) and Haloxigen Max (haloxyfop 54% EC), and the essential latifolicides for regional crops such as peanuts and beans, such as Gensafen (fomesafen 25% SL), Guerrer (Sulfentrazone 50 % SC) and Trench 84 WG (Diclosulam 84% WG).

On the other hand, the firm is betting heavily on high-turning and residual insecticides, such as Benzomyl Ema (Emamectin Benzoate 25% SL), Benzomyl Plus (Emamectin Benzoate 10% + Lufenuron 40% WG) and the fungicide Genesis Duo ( Azoxystrobin 20% + Cyproconazole 8%), for end-of-cycle diseases in soybeans or rust in corn.

What is coming

Tecnomyl's thinking today is to continue investing in the technology of more concentrated products with the most negligible impact on the environment, expanding the plant's capacity to ensure a greater supply and incorporating trained human resources. "All this so that the Argentine producer continues to consider us as an allied national company, which ensures the provision of necessary inputs to produce quality products on time," Silva said in conclusion.
