AlgaHumic biostimulants help orchard resist frost

Qixia City is located at Shandong Province, north east coast of China. It is the core area and main production area of famous brand "Yantai Apple" in China. Since its renovation and reopening, Qixia has accelerated the development of the industrial structure and vigorously advanced the apple industry. The orchard’s area has rapidly increased to 86,000 HA, with an annual output of more than 2.2 billion kilograms of apples, making it a pillar industry in Qixia city. What is AlgaHumic?

AlgaHumic is liquid seaweed extract based biostimulant, which is rich in phlorotannins, seaweed polysaccharide, and trace elements such as iron, manganese, copper, molybdenum, boron, and magnesium, as well as Gibberellin, Heteroauxin and Cytokinin. Humic acid was also added specially. In addition to improving stress tolerance, nutrient uptake, growth and yield, the seaweed-based biostimulant can also help reduce seed dormancy and enhance root systems, flowering, fruit quality and taste, and even the quality of produce. These all-round effects lead to higher fruit productivity.

How to use it?

At the pre-germination stage, apply 75kg of AlgaHumic per hectare at a dilution of 600-800 times. It can not only improve the low temperature resistance of fruit trees in the early stage, but is also beneficial to activate root cell activity and can promote the early germination of fruit trees and prolong the flowering period. It is rich in complete nutrients, large and medium-level trace elements, which is conducive to the full development of flower buds.

At the fruit setting stage, apply AlgaHumic in the same way, to increase the rate of flower setting and fruit setting, as well as promote fruit swelling, coloring and early maturity, and improve fruit quality and increase yield.

AlgaHumic was developed for three purposes：

1.Boost root development: Enhance root growth faster, produce fine capillary roots, maintain roots strong and prevent root aging.

2.Stress resistance: Anti-low temperature in spring and high temperature in summer. It hoffers comprehensive nutrients that stimulate cell activity, promote growth, resist diseases and stresses, resist yellowing, drought and floods, and reduce pesticide and fertilizers damage, especially herbicide damage.
