Chemtura AgroSolutions, a leading global provider of crop protection solutions and seed enhancements, announced that Mike Doerr has joined the company as a technical sales support representative for the Pacific Northwest and Northern Plains regions.
Based in Wenatchee, Wash., Doerr will support sales, marketing and product development initiatives in the tree fruit, nut and vegetable crop markets.
"Adding Mike to our team in the Pacific Northwest truly speaks to our commitment to the important tree fruit market," said Jim Black, director of marketing, Chemtura AgroSolutions. "He brings more than 20 years of tree fruit pest management research experience to Chemtura AgroSolutions."
Prior to joining Chemtura AgroSolutions Doerr served as senior scientific assistant, and research and education coordinator at Washington State University Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center. While there he was focused on developing integrated pest management programs in apple, pear and cherry. He earned a zoology degree from the University of Hawaii.
