Harvest Agro.jpgThe new agrochemical brand Harvest Agro, part of the Wirstchat Group, announced exclusively to AgroPages its first launch in Brazil. It is called Argard Impact, a technology that detoxifies the plant after spraying herbicides.

According to the manufacturer, Argard Impact is foliar-applied and has high power to increase the translocation of micronutrients in plants: Boron (B), Copper (Cu), Manganese (Mn), and Zinc (Zn).

“Endowed with an anti-stress effect, Argard Impact provides more health to the crop and, consequently, greater production at the end of the harvest,” said Harvest Agro to AgroPages.

The new product has in its formulation an exclusive composition with a balance of free amino acids, aiming to allow the plant to reach its maximum growth potential.

“This is one of the products of the Asgard Line whose main characteristic is its high performance, excellent performance in the chelation of nutrients, enabling the compatibility of the mixture of products in the spray tank. It supplies Nitrogen (N), Sulfur (S), B, Mn, and Zn, which are essential elements for good development”, explains the doctor in plant nutrition and technical director of the group, Roberto Reis.

In addition, the new product provides the induction of production of phytoalexins, hormones, tannin, and lignin, resulting in detoxification of the plant after stress caused by the use of herbicides, which can generate greater productivity.

“We can also list as benefits the promotion of the synthesis of amino acids, proteins, and enzymes, resulting in better plant metabolism (biological nitrogen fixation, photosynthesis, grain filling) and greater production”, highlights Reis. All these features in a single product have provided the field, according to the technical director, with productivity increases in the order of 10%.

“This is a formulation that can be used in soybean, corn, cotton, horticultural, citrus, among others, in other words, it is recommended for multi-cultures. In soy, for example, we have seen gains of five bags per hectare in commercial areas, a great increase in productivity with increasingly tight margins in the sector”, concludes the director.

Harvest Agro arrived in Brazil with a focus on developing technologies in biopesticides and plant nutrition. The projection is to double the earnings of the Wirstchat Group, going from the current R$ 25 million to around R$ 55 million. To reach these figures, the group invested R$ 12 million in the construction of a new plant of 8,000 m² located in the interior of the state of São Paulo. (1 R$ = 0.18 USD)
