On July 30, 2021, Chinese agrochemical company Jiangsu Fengshan Group Co., Ltd announced the progress of its plans to raise funds for the various projects of the company. The details are as follows:

1. An annual 1,000-ton trichlopyr and 1,000-ton triclopyr 2-butoxyethyl ester production line has begun trial operations, being proved up to standard following the technical upgrade.

2. An annual 700-ton cyhalofop-butyl and 300-ton clodinafop-propargyl technical production began its trial operations on January 30, 2021, after a technical upgrade, and is currently under the process of commissioning and optimization.

3. The company intends to adopt a more advanced process for its “annual 800-ton quizalofop-p-ethyl and 500-ton quizalofop-P-tefuryl production upgrade”. The process to be adopted will effectively reduce the amount of wastewater, while at the same time recover sodium sulphate from chlorination and potassium chloride from synthesizing of quizalofop-p-ethyl, to be used as a by-product. Due to the change in the process and the expected addition of the by-products, the project needs to go through another project examination and approval formality in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. Therefore, the project will not be completed by September 2021 as expected.

4.The fixed asset investment project filing and the EIA, about the annual 1,600-ton 4-(methylsulfonyl)-2-nitrobenzoic acid and 750-ton cyclohexanedione projects, have been approved, followed by the start of preliminary work.
