On 20th July, the environmental acceptance of three projects of Weifang Xinlu Chemical Co., Ltd., including the annual production of 43,000 tons of the pyridinium chloride series, was publicized online for public feedback. Weifang Xinlu Chemical Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of China’s leading agrochemical company Shandong Luba Chemical Co., Ltd.


1. Annual production of 43,000 tons of pyridinium chloride series

The project’s construction began in July 2015 and it became operational in December 2020, producing an annual output of pyridinium chloride series of 43,000 tons, with an actual investment of Yuan866.33 million.


2. Annual production of 3,000 tons of diquat, 2,000 tons of fluroxypyr and 3,000 tons of Haloxyfop-P technical (phase I)

The project’s construction was completed in February 2021, and it became operational in February 2021. The project includes the annual production of 3,000 tons of Haloxyfop-P technical and 3,000 tons of diquat, with an actual investment of Yuan427.23 million. Phase II of the project will include a newbuild with a 2,000-ton fluroxypyr capacity.


3. 30,000-ton pesticide and intermediate project (phase I) covering a fluroxypyr plant

The project’s construction was completed in February 2021, and it became operational in February 2021. It includes a newbuild with a 2,000-ton fluroxypyr capacity, with an actual investment of Yuan132.45 million, including Yuan27.20 million spent on pollution control.
