Subsidiary of Shandong Huimeng Biotech plans annual 1,000-ton penoxsulam project

In June 2021, the environmental impact assessment for an annual 1,000-ton penoxsulam project undertaken by Jiamusi Heilong Pesticide Co., Ltd. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Huimeng Biotech Co., Ltd. was publicized for public opinion. 

To meet the market demand and enhance the market competitiveness of the company, Jiamusi Heilong Pesticide has planned newbuild of a penoxsulam production workshop in its existing plant area in Jiamusi Heilong Pesticide Co., Ltd, within Huaxi Industrial Park, Huachuan County, where a production line of annual 1,000 tons of penoxsulam will be built, at a cost of Yuan150 million.

In 2018, Jiamusi Heilong Pesticide was restructured by Shandong Huimeng Biotech, having been relocated to No.99 Shuanghe Road, Jiamusi High-tech Zone. At present, the project portfolio of Jiamusi Heilong Pesticide under construction includes - annual 1,000-ton clodinafop and 2,500-ton intermediate; annual 1,000-ton cyhalofop-butyl, 5,000-ton 2-chloro-5-(chloromethyl) pyridine; 3,000-ton 2,3-dichloro-5-(trifluoromethyl) pyridine; 1,000-ton 2,3-dichloro-5-(trichloromethyl) pyridine; 3,000-ton haloxyfop-P, 1,500-ton fluazifop-P and 5,000-ton intermediate.
