HIL CMD Siba Prasad Mohanty appointed CMD of BVFCL

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel has nominated Dr Siba Prasad Mohanty to be the next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL).

Mohanty who is currently serving as CMD of HIL (India) Limited was the only candidate who was interviewed by the selection panel and recommended for the post of CMD of BVFCL.

Mohanty an MBA from Berhampur University, Odisha had completed his Executive Development Programme from IIM Lucknow and Advanced Management Programme from IIM, Kolkata. He has over 26 years of rich and diverse experience primarily in the Marketing of Agri Inputs. He has also worked in M/s Rashtriya Chemical & Fertilizers Ltd (RCF), Mumbai, in different capacities from 1989 to 2015.

Notably, Mohanty is a recipient of the “Marketing Man of the Year” award in 1995 and the “Best Employee” Award in 2012 at RCF. Under his Chairmanship, Hindustan Insecticides Limited was awarded with several prestigious awards by renowned institutions like Bureaucracy Today (CSR Excellence Award), Times Ascent (Innovative HR practices), The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) etc.
