Zagro is looking for purchasing manager and registration/regulatory affairs executive in China

PURCHASING MANAGER

Division: Crop Care 

Base: Anywhere in China 

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Singapore-based Regional Manager (Crop Care Division), the incumbent will play key role in identifying and sourcing / purchasing of agrochemicals in China for export to international markets.

Requirements:

•Degree in Agriculture/Agrochemicals/ Biochemistry/ Marketing/ Business or related disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant marketing and export experience in a local chemical manufacturing/ trading/ distribution company in the agri business 

• Good contact with local agrochemical suppliers

• A sound knowledge of the import and export regulations

• Good negotiations skills

• High degree of self-motivation and initiative 

• Ability to speak and write English

Registration/Regulatory Affairs Executive 

Division: Crop Care

Base: Shanghai or Anywhere in China

Job Responsibilities:-

•Source for documents and guidelines, meticulously consolidate, file and maintain product technical information

•Prepares registration packages for submission to relevant legislation authorities and process product registration

•Liaises with relevant authorities on product registration status and other legislative matters

•Keep track of renewal datelines

•Attend to ad-hoc tasks assigned by immediate superior

Requirements:-

•Possess a degree in Science/ Agriculture/ Chemistry or a  related discipline 

•2 to 3 years product registration experience for countries, ie:-New Zealand/ Thailand/ Philippines/ Sri Lanka/ Malaysia and Myanmar 

•Strong administrative skills

•Ability to speak and write English
