Dhanuka appoints investigation team for Udhampur factory fire

Dhanuka Agritech Limited has appointed an internal investigation team to carry out a detailed investigation to ascertain the cause of Udhampur factory fire. 

On May 27, 2021, a fire broke out late at night in the company’s unit situated at Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir. The emergency response team and local fire brigade reached on the spot and brought the fire under control. There was no casualty/injury reported due to fire and the company thanked the local administration, neighbouring industries and fire brigade for their timely support. 

The state of the art manufacturing site in Udhampur has 12 filling lines dedicated for Liquids - EC, SC & SL; four formulation & packing lines for WP & SP; two formulation & packing lines for WDG; Online monitoring of quality conforming to highest standards; and Zero discharge unit. The manufacturing unit is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 certified.
