Zuari Agro Chemicals witness an Rs2.5cr loss due to Cyclone Tauktae's impact on its Goa plant.
In its regulatory filing, Zuari Agro said, "we would like to inform you that the damages caused by Cyclone - Tauktae to the fertilizer plant at Goa including loss due to material lost is approx. Rs2.5cr only."
Cyclone Tauktae was an extremely severe cyclonic storm that erupted in the Arabian Sea, lashing heavy rains and wind in Goa, Maharashtra and finally making landfall in Gujarat earlier in May 14, 2021.
