AgroPages-Folpet registration granted for field crop use in China for first time-Agricultural news

Folpet 75%.phosethyl-al WG (folpet 25% + phosethyl-al 50%) filed by Yingde Greatchem Chemicals was, on April 27, 2021, granted registration by China's Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA), for application to control of grape downy mildew.

This is the first-time Folpet has been registered for the use in field crops in China.

Previously, the company was granted registration of Folpet WP 80% as a sanitation product for use in wood-soaking against mold.

In terms of pesticide technical, in addition to the registration of the company, Hebei Veyong also holds a registration of a technical 95%.

Folpet is a traditional broad-spectrum protective organic sulfur-based fungicide, which has existed for long, but with a relatively small market volume.
