AgroPages-First flazasulfuron OD granted registration in China-Agricultural news

Recently, the 40g/L flazasulfuron OD filed by Henan Xinxiang Ryan Ping’an Garden Co., Ltd was granted registration for control of annual weeds in lawn (bermuda grass), being the first flazasulfuron OD product registration in China.

Previously, six flazasulfuron technicals (94%, 95%, 97% and 98%) and eight flazasulfuron WDG (all at 25%) were granted registration in China (in valid state).

Flazasulfuron is a sulfonylurea herbicide, which is mainly used to control broad leaf weeds, nutgrass flatsedge and grassy weeds in warm season lawn (only fit for bermuda grass and zoysia), whilst being especially effective on control of cyperus rotundus.
