Syngenta appoints Trevor Heck to head of marketing

Syngenta announced that Trevor Heck, a senior member of the Syngenta team, has been appointed Head of Marketing for the organization.

Effective April 1st, 2011, Heck will provide leadership for the development and execution of all customer strategies and campaigns for Syngenta Canada. In this new role, he will be responsible for every aspect of the Syngenta marketing organization, including brand management, communications and customer-focused activities.

"Trevor brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and cross-functional expertise to the Head of Marketing role. He has a well-earned reputation in the industry for adding value to our partnerships and a passion for our customers,” said Jay Bradshaw, President of Syngenta Canada. “I know that Trevor will prove a strong addition to the Syngenta leadership team.”

Heck brings a wealth of experience to this new role, having held positions within the organization in channel management, sales and marketing, most recently serving as Channel Manager for the Western Business Region. He also possesses international experience, working for Syngenta Europe in the United Kingdom focused on Regional Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Services operations for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Heck began his career in agricultural marketing in Stoney Creek, Ontario as a Marketing Analyst. He hails from Provost, Alberta and will be based out of Calgary as Head of Marketing for Syngenta.
