ICAMA approved 183 products registration in Mar, 2021; Lier obtained the third L-glufosinate formulation in China

According to China Pesticide Registration Watch, 183 product registrations from 134 companies were approved by the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) in March, 2021, including 62 herbicides, 52 fungicides, 34 insecticides, 12 plant growth regulators (PGR), 12 hygienic insecticides, 5 acaricide, 3 fungicide/insecticides, 1 nemacide,1 molluscicid. 

Among the registered products, Pyraclostrobin lead the registration with 14 registered products. Followed by Clothianidin (8), Tebuconazole (7), Glufosinate-ammonium (7), Fludioxonil (6) and Glyphosate (6). For mixture registration, the mixture of glufosinate-ammonium and glyphosate has the largest number of registrations.

There are 4 registrations of pesticide techincals, one of which is the registration of  L-glufosinate sodium salt obtained by Shandong Luba, with an active ingredient content of 90%. Prior to this, YongNong BioSciences(Yonon) and Lier Chemical has already approved the registration of L-glufosinate sodium salt technicals. The other three technical registrations are all plant growth regulators. 

For formulation registration, Lier Chemical approved the registration of L-glufosinate 10% SL (trade name: Jinxianyun®). Lier Chemical was the third one to obtain the L-glufosinate formulation registration,after Meiji and Yonon.
