Fuzion Technologies, LLC has received its first product registration under the recently licensed Veloz Technology umbrella. Frenzy, with Veloz Technology, received EPA registration in March and is expected to be commercially available in May 2011.
Frenzy Veloz is a premix combination of the insecticide active ingredient, bifenthrin, and the Huntsman Petrochemical, LLC developed Veloz Technology insecticide delivery package.
Mike Steffeck, President of Fuzion Technologies, LLC says, “The combination of Veloz Technology and bifenthrin insecticide is a natural fit. Bifenthrin is one of the most versatile and complete insecticides ever discovered and launched. Its insect spectrum, broad crop label, favorable handling characteristics and residual control are an incredible combination. Its weakness is that it is one of the slowest acting of the pyrethroid family. Combining it with the speed and cuticle penetration of Veloz Technology will make Frenzy the most powerful tool in a retailer’s arsenal.”
Frenzy Veloz is registered for use on a wide variety of crops including corn, cotton, soybeans and canola as well as over 150 other fruits, vegetables and other crops. “Not only will Frenzy be labeled on a wide variety of crops, it will pack a fast and intense punch on a broad spectrum of insects including worms, mites, aphids and beetles,” adds Steffeck.
Frenzy Veloz will only be marketed through Fuzion Technologies’ proprietary retail network.
Casey McDaniel, head of the Fuzion B2B Retail Network says, “When we launched Fuzion Technologies almost two years ago, our commitment to independent retailers and cooperatives was that we would provide them with products and technology that they could market and differentiate themselves with. We’ve delivered differentiation through our Z-Brand adjuvants, micronutrients and post patent product offerings . With Frenzy Veloz, our Fuzion B2B Retail Network will be able to compete on multiple value levels.”
