Fortune Group - Bestar: Main Producer of Imidacloprid, Acetamiprid and Thiamethoxam

A multidimensional enterprise group with fine chemicals as the main business

Headquartered in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province (as shown in Fig. 1), Fortune Group is a multidimensional enterprise group focusing on fine chemicals and supplemented by real estate, with more than 1,500 employees. The two main sectors under Fortune Group include marketing represented by Hebei Bestar industry Co., Ltd (Bestar) and chemicals represented by Hebei Yetian Agrochemicals Co., Ltd (Yetian), Shijiazhuang Richem Co., Ltd (Richem) and Inner Mongolia Right help Biotechnology Co., Ltd (Right help, under construction).

Chemical sector: one of the largest producers of several products in the world

The chemical sector of Fortune Group covers an area of 100 hectares. Fortune Group is now one of the most important nicotinic pesticide manufacturers in China. The group's production scale of imidacloprid, acetamiprid, thiamethoxam and glufosinate is in the leading position. 

There are two systems of production and marketing under the chemical sector of Fortune Group. Yetian and Richem are the main production entities, and both of them are located in the chemical industry park, as shown in Fig. 2.

Yetian established in 1999, is an emerging tech enterprise dedicated to creating green and environment-friendly pesticides. For years, the company has been focusing on highlighting its superiorities in technicals and production capacity. Now, Yetian is one of the largest and best manufacturers of Imidacloprid (6000 tons/year), Acetamiprid (4000 tons/year), Thiamethoxam (6000 tons/year), etc. in China.

Richem is committed to the production of high-quality glufosinate technicals. After continuous technical renovation, the production capacity for the product has reached 8000 tons/year. 

For a better development, the company invested more than CNY 2 billion to build Right Help, a 67-ha production base in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, to produce a number of herbicides and insecticides. Tongliao, located close to Liao River in Northeast China, is rich in water, coal and human resources, and the base will become a new growth point of Fortune Group’s chemical sector.

Fortune Group enjoys an outstanding advantage of scale. Fortune Group has a strong capability of producing 4 pesticide techincals including imidacloprid, acetamiprid, thiamethoxam and glufosinate.

Professional and Strong Registration Support

Supported by strong capital and production capacity, Fortune Group has continuously improved its professional level and international pesticide service capability. At present, the legal affairs and registration team composed of professionals has acquired 99 pesticide registrations for Fortune Group, and the number is expected to reach 101 by the end of 2021. Fortune Group has the GLP report for 24 products, based on which it can provide support for customers to register products in other countries.

Consecutively listed in Top 30 Pesticide Export Enterprises of China for years

Bestar is the main sales outlet of Fortune Group, responsible for international trade of the Group. The exports completed by Bestar exceed US$100 million since 2014. Bestar has been listed in Top30 pesticide export enterprises of China consecutively for years. It is estimated that the exports of the company will reach US$300 million by 2023.
