The herbicide mesotrione and the fungicide fosetyl-al of Limin Chemical Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Limin Group, have passed assessment and have been granted the EU technical equivalence, a journalist of AgroPages learned recently.
The European Union (EU) is one of the regions with the strictest pesticide registration system in the world. The grant of technical equivalence shows that the quality of Limin Group’s mesotrione and fosetyl-al technical products has reached the world's leading level, which lays a solid foundation for the company’s EU pesticide market development.
With 10 years of experience in the technical production of mesotrione, Limin Chemical is one of the companies drafting China’s present mesotrione technical industry standards. The company possesses an advanced process in technical production of mesotrione, which is capable of manufacturing the high-quality product for steady supplies to customers. Over the years, the products of the Limin Group have been regarded very highly by its customers at home and abroad.
As the world's largest fosetyl-al producer, Limin Chemical has currently an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of fosetyl-al while another unit of an annual 12,000-ton capacity is under construction. The group has obtained 15 national patent authorizations for fosetyl-al, including two invention patents and 13 utility model patents. The Limin Group has hosted or participated in the preparation of two fosetyl-al industry standards and five enterprise standards.
In 2019, Limin Group’s main product mancozeb was granted EU technical equivalence. This time, the grant of technical equivalence for the two products will extend the sales coverage of the group’s mesotrione and fosetyl-al, enabling the global promotion of the Limin brand. As a result, this will safeguard the continuous growth of the group’s business performance in the long run.
