Xinnong Chemical’s 1,000-ton pyraclostrobin project enters trial run

On 31st December, Zhejiang Xinnong Chemical Co., Ltd. announced the trial run of phase one of its annual 1,000-ton pyraclostrobin and 430-ton by-product sodium chloride project.

The project was financed through fundraising by IPO and is located in the Yangkou Chemical Industrial Park, Rudong County, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province in China with a total investment of Yuan180 million provided by Jiangsu Xinnong Chemical Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Xinnong Chemical.

The project is divided into two phases. The trial run of phase one, with an annual production of 300 tons of pyraclostrobin, began some time ago. On 30th December, 2020, the plant began its full operation, producing conformable products.

Zhejiang Xinnong Chemical said that the project’s completion and operation is in line with the company's strategic plan and will further enrich its pesticide technical and formulation product portfolio. Upon full completion, the project is expected to offer a new source of profitability and enhance the competitive edge of the company, contributing to the steady operation of its main business.
