Inner Mongolia Xingfa Science and Technology investing Yuan5.567 billion in organosilicon production facility

ChinaThe environmental impact assessment for the organosilicon project of Inner Mongolia Xingfa Science and Technology was placed for the second time on the website for public comment, in November 2020.
Inner Mongolia Xingfa Science and Technology is planning to construct an annual 400,000-ton organosilicon production facility together with an annual 50,000-ton glyphosate device (inclusive of intermediates) to extract chloromethane for organosilicon production as well as an annual 300,000-ton ionic membrane caustic soda device to synthesize liquid chlorine for organosilicon production.
The project is located in Wuda Industrial Park, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia, over a land area of 924,060m2, with a total investment of Yuan5.567 billion, and a construction period of 24 months (including early-stage work), of which the actual construction period will be 18 months.
