Valent, Nufarm form strategic alliance in Canada

Valent Canada Inc. announced that Nufarm Agriculture Inc. will become the sales agent of record for Valtera™ Herbicide.
 
Effective immediately, Nufarm will be responsible for all sales, shipping and billing of Valtera in Canada. Pricing and programming for Valtera are already launched for the 2011 season and will not change as a result of this agreement.

Valtera is a preemergence residual herbicide launched in 2009 that offers soybean growers broad spectrum weed control. Valtera plays an important role in total weed management programs by contributing effective control of many broadleaf weeds such as Eastern black nightshade, lamb’s-quarters and pigweeds—including Group 2 and triazine-resistant biotypes.
