Luft Agro, a Luft Logistics unit specializing in agribusiness, plans to open two logistics centers in 2021.
Already present in the main agricultural centers in the country, the company will arrive in Campo Novo do Parecis (MT) and Marabá (PA). The new distribution centers are part of the company's structured expansion project.
“Our branches are strategically located, facilitating warehousing and distribution operations and enabling shorter delivery times for pesticides, seeds and special fertilizers, both, for producers and resellers in different regions of Brazil. We are increasingly closer to our customers, ensuring safe processes and the most advanced logistics technologies for industry 4.0, ” says Mauri Mendes, Luft Agro Commercial Director.
The new DC in Marabá (PA) will have an initial capacity to store 7,000 pallets, and will offer industries and producers modernization and security in the storage of pesticides and special fertilizers. In Mato Grosso, Luft Agro consolidates its logistical structuring project in the State, with the new branch in Campo Novo do Parecis, with an initial capacity of up to 4,000 pallets and the acclimatized storage of seeds.
Luft Agro already maintains distribution centers in Carazinho (RS), Ibiporã (PR), Barueri (SP), Cuiabá (MT), Sorriso (MT), Rondonópolis (MT), Querência (MT), Aparecida de Goiânia (GO) , Camaçari (BA), Luís Eduardo Magalhães (BA), Araguaína (TO), and Colinas do Tocantins (TO).
The Brazilian agribusiness has been the driving force of the country’s economy. The Institute of Applied Economic Research (Ipea) has just revised the projection of the growth rate of the gross domestic product (GDP) of the agricultural sector from 1.6% to 1.9% in 2020.
