Fargro will report record results at its AGM on 15 March with sales up 17 per cent to £17.86m and operating profits more than doubled at £705,000.
Managing director Dr Paul Sopp said: "The significant growth stems from the company's focus on new products, customer service, strong financial control and enhancing staff levels."
In the past year Fargro has introduced several new crop protection products - including the biopesticides Met52 and Prestop as well as a range of wicker baskets - and doubled its storage area. Meanwhile, eleven new staff have joined the company over the past year.
Chairman David Godsmark said: "The growth achieved over the past three years has been exceptional and re-affirms that the continued emphasis on containing costs together with our policy of investing in new products and staff remain crucial to our success."
