Wynca’s subsidiary plans new build of glufosinate production facilities

On August 8 and 14, Wynca Science & Technology (Ningxia) publicized their environmental impact assessment report for public opinion in China, covering an annual 6,000-ton glufosinate technical project, phase 1 of the 20,000-ton methyldiethoxyphosphine project  and a 7,000-ton chloroformate extension.

Located in Pingluo Industrial Park, Wynca Science & Technology (Ningxia) Co., Ltd is a controlled subsidiary of Zhejiang Wynca, which primarily manufactures trifloxystrobin and diuron. Wynca has an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of phosgene, 4,000 tons of diuron and 5,000 tons of trifloxystrobin. 

1. Annual 6,000-ton glufosinate technical project and phase 1 of the 20,000-ton methyldiethoxyphosphine project  

The project includes the establishment of production in Ningxia Pingluo Industrial Park. The first phase of the project covers a production unit of 3,000 tons of glufosinate TC and 2,940 tons of glufosinate AS; the second phase covers another production unit of 3,000 tons of glufosinate TC, 2,940 tons of glufosinate AS and 20,000 tons of methyldiethoxyphosphine.

2. Annual 7,000-ton chloroformate extension.

An additional 7,000 tons of chloroformate product series production capacity will be built. Its first phase will include an annual 1,000 tons of ethyl chloroformate, 2,000 tons of 2-ethylhexyl chloroformate, 500 tons of propyl chloroformate and 500 tons of allyl chloroformate. The phase 2 calls for the launch of 1,000 tons of ethyl chloroformate, 1,000 tons of 2-ethylhexyl chloroformate, 500 tons of isopropyl chloroformate and 500 tons of benzyl chloroformate.
