Nutrichem to build mesotrione, azoxystrobin, oxyfluorfen and tebuconazole production facility

On August 14, Nutrichem announced that by 6 July 2020 the company had raised total funds of Yuan545 million, which is planned for spending on its "pesticide technical upgrading and by-product phenol refinement project”.

Mr. Chen Boyang, a director and general manager of Nutrichem, says that after the completion of the project, Shangyu Nutrichem will form an annual production capacity of 4,000 tons of mesotrione, 4,000 tons of azoxystrobin, 3,000 tons of tebuconazole as well as improved reclamation of the by-product refined phenol to achieve new production capacity of 1,000 tons of oxyfluorfen.

The products covered by the fundraise are all superior products of the company. After the facility becomes operational, the company will be able to increase the production capacity of existing superior products as well as to enhance the core competitiveness of the company, which will allow the company to capture the market opportunities. The company is prepared to implement the business plan as disclosed in the letter of intention pertaining to the public issue, targeting at completion and operation of the project facility in around 2023.
