New business manager appointed for UK and Ireland for Gowan

Dr. Dominic Lamb has been appointed UK and Ireland Business Manager for Gowan, a rapidly expanding family-owned international company with its headquarters in the USA and over ten years successful sales in Europe.

This position reflects Gowan’s continuing long term commitment and significant focus on the European market, and the UK and Ireland in particular, says Matt Comer, General Manager for Gowan in Europe. He points out that Gowan has been selling a portfolio of customer/grower oriented solutions directly in key European countries including Spain, Italy and France and via national distributors in other countries for over a decade.

Dominic Lamb has over twenty-five years experience working in the agrochemical industry throughout the UK and Europe.  Since gaining a BSc and a PhD, he has held a number of increasingly senior technical, business development and commercial roles, with key agrochemical manufacturers including Dow AgroSciences, BASF and latterly Monsanto.
