Origin Agritech Limited Sets Date to Release 1Q Fiscal 2011 Results

Origin Agritech Limited, a vertically integrated supplier of hybrid and genetically modified crop seeds in China, will announce unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended February 22.
In a release, the Company said that these results reflect its financial statements during the period from October 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010. Origin prepares its financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) of the United States.
As usual, Origin Agritech Limited will not hold a conference call for the first quarter earnings results given the proximity to the 2010 year end results. Origin will also again provide relevant questions and answers to accompany the first quarter earnings release and will be available to further clarify any questions after the earnings release.
