Recently, the management of Harbin Wanrong Crop Science announced that an annual 60,000-ton pesticide production project in China, in which the company invested Yuan350 million, will start production by the end of 2022.
The project, which is located in the Jilin Economic Development Zone, covers an area of nearly 50,000-square meters. Phase one of the project’s construction began on 10th April, and its production workshop and raw material storage and supporting facilities will be completed in November. By that time, the project’s production capacity is expected to reach 70% of planned capacity.
Phase two of the project will see the construction of two production workshops and two raw material warehouses, which are scheduled for completion in 2022. After the project becomes fully operational, its annual production value will reach Yuan600 million, with a tax contribution of Yuan30 million while creating 120 jobs.
The pesticide products to be produced include simetryne 10% (15000t / a), terbuthylazine 30% (15000t / a), 2,4-D isooctyl ester 16% SC (15000t / a), metolachlor 10% (2500t / a), 2,4-D isooctyl ester 10% SE (2500t / a), fomesafen 100g / L (2500t / a), beta-cypermethrin 5% (2500t / a), thiamethoxam 10% (2500t / a), bentazone 20% ME (2400t / a) and bentazone 20% SL (100t / a).
