On the morning of April 29, Inner Mongolia NAB Agrochemicals Company kicked off the construction of an annual 1,750-ton environment-friendly and high-efficient herbicide technical series project with a total investment of Yuan310 million to be constructed for two years at the Wuda Industrial Park, China.
Inner Mongolia NAB is a joint venture launched between Zibo Xingji Holding Ltd and Yichang Xingfa Group Ltd, engaged in the research, production and trading of pesticides, pesticide intermediates and fine chemicals.
The company has established a series of environment-friendly and high-efficient herbicide technical production facilities at Wuda Industrial Park, mainly producing nicosulfuron and imazethapyr. The first phase of the project covers an annual 500-ton nicosulfuron, 350-ton sulfonamide (intermediate) and 50-ton imazapic, while the second phase covers an annual 500-ton imazethapyr, 200-ton imazamox, 500-ton nicosulfuron and 350-ton sulfonamide (intermediate). The first phase of the project is expected to be commissioned in August this year and put into trial production at the end of the year. After the project is completed and put into operation, an annual production value of Yuan505 million and annual tax contribution of Yuan61 million are foreseeable, and will create 264 jobs.
According to another source, the other company in Inner Mongolia, Inner Mongolia Lingsheng Crop Technology Ltd., is currently carrying out a trial run of a 2,000-ton nicosulfuron facility, which will be put into production soon.
