Nantong Jiangshan to launch new projects, including annual 200,000-ton glyphosate plant

ChinaTo effectively utilize the company's by-product hydrochloric acid and salt, and to ensure a by-product balance and turn waste into wealth, it is planning to implement is "Industrial Acid Resource Utilization Project,” which will ensure the stable production of its current main product while eliminating possible contamination caused by by-products. The project will involve the annual production of 100,000 tons of organic and inorganic compound fertilizers, 15,000 tons of methane chloride, and 2,000 tons of calcium chloride aqueous solution. The project construction period is estimated to be 20 months.
To further improve the glyphosate production capacity of the company and create a strong backup for its long-term business development, it decided to carry out a formulation upgrading, packaging and warehousing smart management program using advanced smart packaging equipment and a smart stereoscopic warehouse, which will increase its level of smart manufacturing. After the project is implemented, the company’s annual glyphosate capacity will reach 200,000 tons, for which the construction period is expected to be one year.
