Recently,
Hailir released its new benzamide fungicide, Shumei in China, which contains thifluzamide 20% and azoxystrobin 10%, and will be used for the prevention and control of potato nevus, rice sheath blight and peanut blight.
Shumei is a protective curative systemic fungicide, which provides crops with long-lasting protection for as long as 20-30 days. Its mode of action lies in its inhabitation of the bacterial mitochondrial respiration, which is less resistant compared to similar fungicides. The application method is flexible and can be applied to the leaf, seed or soil via different formulations. The use of Shumei can improve the transformation of nitrogen fertilizer inside crops, enhance photosynthesis, improve quality and yield. Moreover, the product is less toxic and safe for crops.
