Venezuela approves online sale of agri-inputs during Covid-19 pandemic

Following the guidelines of the National Government and the General Staff for the Combat and Defense of Covid-19, and in order to guarantee the productivity of local economic sectors and ensure food production for the Venezuelan people, the Social Property Company, Agropatria, approved the sale of agricultural inputs on a scheduled online basis.

This commercialization is being carried out by various agribusinesses around the country, in line with relevant protocols and security measures.

The agricultural entity created the email address, ventascorporativasagropatria@gmail.com, and the phone numbers, 0412 8919315 and 04147905658, to enable producers to make enquiries, said a representative from Agropatria.

Small and medium-sized producers purchasing agrochemicals, seeds and agricultural tools online must take the necessary preventive measures, according to instructions given by the national commission responsible for combating and preventing the spread of coronavirus.

Before the declaration of a social and collective quarantine by Nicolás Maduro (President of the Republic) to protect the people from Covid-19, Venezuela has united and is making a national effort to stay at home and fully comply with the declaration, as it seeks to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
