Suzhou Bianjing aims to build world-class neonicotinoid pesticide brand｜Carbendazim and Thiophanate-methyl will begin operating in H2 2020

Suzhou Bianjing Agro-biochemical Co., Ltd was founded in 1970, developed from the former Wuxian Pesticide Factory, the Wuxian Pesticide Chemical Group and Suzhou Worldbest Agro-biochemical Co., Ltd. The company is the first imidacloprid developer and manufacturer in China, and possesses Jiangsu’s famous provincial trademarks, "Wunong" and "Bianjing," having obtained more than 20 product patents.

Lead Chemical Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suzhou Bianjing, was established in March 2019. Its three products, imidacloprid, acetamiprid and nitenpyram, have been granted pesticide production permits issued by the Agricultural and Rural Department of Ningxia Autonomous Region, as well as by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs(Total six pesticide registration certificates).

Ningxia Wynca Technology Co., Ltd., a share-participating company of Suzhou Bianjing, produces 19 pesticide products, including carbendazim, diuron, imidacloprid and isoproturon.

Suzhou Bianjing aims to build a world-class neonicotinoid pesticide brand, focusing on neonicotinoid pesticides derived from CCMP. In the meantime, the company is engaged in production of important intermediates, such as ethyl N-cyanoethanimidate (CAEI), N-Nitroiminoimidazolidine (NNI), and 2-Chloro-5-chloromethylthiazole (CCMT). The company's products, chloro-5-chloromethylpyridine (94%-99% salt-free), imidacloprid (97-99%), acetamiprid (97-99%) and nitenpyram (97-98%), have fully fulfilled the needs of its clients.

With the continuous growth of the company's comprehensive business, Suzhou Bianjing is planning to start producing carbendazim technical and thiophanate-methyl technical in the second half of 2020, as well as the supporting intermediate, o-phenylenediamine. It is also prepared to use the ammonization, ammoxidation, chlorination and hydrogenation equipment required for the production of various pesticides and pharmaceutical intermediates. Related formalities are currently being undertaken, which are expected to be completed before the start of production in the second half of this year.

While this part of China is the company’s production base for all types of pesticide technicals and formulations that are high quality and competitively priced, Suzhou Bianjing Crop Protection Technology is utilizing the research, marketing and financial advantages available in Southern China to establish a first-class pesticide brand.
