On January 22, 2020, China’s agrochemical company
Lianyungang Liben Crop Science announced the successful completion of the environmental compliance acceptance of the annual 40,000-ton fine chemicals projects at its subsidiary, Inner Mongolia Lingsheng Crop Science, proving that all the environmental measures of the project have been implemented in accordance with the EIA and approval documents.
The projects are located at the Bayin Oboo Industrial Park, Alxa Economic Development Zone, Inner Mongolia. The projects include an annual 30,000-ton ethyl chloride, 6,982.92-ton sodium methyl mercaptide and 3,000-ton pyraclostrobin. These projects began in June 2017 and were completed in August 2018. The total cost on EIA of the project was Yuan433.3299 million, which included Yuan55.75 million on pollution control, accounting for 12.9% of the total EIA cost.
