The (CTA) Technological Center Agro100 entered into a scientific technical partnership with the Phytus Group, under which the Phytus Group will develop and test simultaneous solutions for Phytus and Agro100.
Phytus will bolster its research activities through the Agro100 field station and all the results will be shared with the customers of Agro100 and the subscribers of Phytus. The focus will be centered on better yields, sustainable agriculture and higher profitability.
The Phytus Group is an organization that has been operating for more than 18 years in the generation and sharing of knowledge for the agribusiness. Along its trajectory, it has built a solid work structure, always looking for new technologies and work methodologies. Its services are directed to the different segments of agribusiness and, therefore, develop customized projects for each client. All this is done with the creativity and dedication that innovative solutions deserve, aiming to cultivate excellent results.
Active in several areas such as Phytopathology, Seed Treatment, Weed Control, Nematology, Entomology, Plant Nutrition and Biological Control, Phytus has its administrative headquarters in Santa Maria-RS, in addition to two research stations located at Itaara and Formigueiro, both in RS, and in Planaltina in the Cerrados Region.
This partnership will increase its bases, being able to manage and cover the whole of southern Brazil. CTA Agro 100 is located in one of the best agricultural regions of Brazil, which produced soybeans, corn and wheat.
Ricardo Balardin, Phytus Group CEO, considers the partnership between the two companies very important. “Thanks to Agro100's leaders, and in particular to Renato Seraphim, I would like to express the immense satisfaction that we at Phytus feel to celebrate this partnership. It will be very important for Phytus to be close to the reality of the producer, generating and transferring information. This is the beginning of a fruitful relationship and we hope to be a catalyst for several initiatives that can add even more quality to the work,” he said.
Renato Seraphim, CEO of Agro100, reinforced that this partnership with the Phytus Group represents a great advancement in the development of research and network innovation, where everyone will benefit from the results, which will assist farmers in making decisions over the better use of pesticides, fertilizes and seeds, and with this, provide an increasingly sustainable agriculture and better yields.
"We are pleased to enter this technical partnership with Phytus, given their leading research position and proven expertise in tropical agriculture, and for us, this is an important achievement, and I am sure that the main winner of this partnership will be the customer," he added.
