STK, the innovative Israeli leader in bio-ag technologies and hybrid technologies for sustainable agriculture and aquaculture, and ADAMA, world leader in crop protection products, announce an exclusive agreement for the distribution of the botanical-based bio-fungicide TIMOREX GOLD® and the 'hybrid' fungicide REGEV® throughout Ecuador.

Under this exclusive agreement, ADAMA will sell the products throughout Ecuador with the trade name of STK, TIMOREX GOLD® and REGEV®. TIMOREX GOLD® is currently approved for use in Ecuador for the following crops: banana, rice, tomatoes, avocados, onions, coffee, tobacco, passion fruit, broccoli, among others. Ecuador also approved REGEV® in bananas, with the expected extension of the label in ornamental plants and rice.

TIMOREX GOLD® is a highly effective and popular botanical based biofungicide. Based on tea tree oil, TIMOREX GOLD® is used by producers in almost 40 countries in the Americas, Asia, Australia / New Zealand and Israel. TIMOREX GOLD® protects fruits and vegetables from a wide variety of diseases, increases crop quality, leaves no chemical residues and makes TIMOREX GOLD® treated crops more competitive and agriculture more sustainable internationally.

REGEV® is the first "hybrid" fungicide in the world. It is used successfully in many countries and several regions of the world. A ready-to-use mixture, REGEV® is used exactly like other fungicides, but with the additional benefits of chemical waste reduction and much better resistance management due to its highly complex formulation of tea tree oil and difenoconazole. This easy-to-use fungicide serves as a "bridge" that allows farmers who have never used any biological product to try one, without having to mix, rotate or do something different, thus expanding the use of biological products for sustainable agriculture.

Commenting on the Agreement, STK CEO Arye Tenenbaum said: "We are very pleased to partner with a company as large as ADAMA, whose world-class team of experts will promote the use of these exceptionally innovative and highly effective biological products to Ecuadorian Producers."

The CEO of ADAMA Andeans Countries, Carlos Danilowicz, commented: “TIMOREX GOLD® and REGEV® complement ADAMA's portfolio in Ecuador. With these highly advanced technologies, our goal is to continue providing valuable services and products to enable farmers to optimize yields and help them grow. ”

Victor Lazo, Country Manager of STK Ecuador, added: "The world is changing and the awareness of protecting our scarce natural resources available to produce food is growing. With Adama, we have decided to combine our knowledge, experience and efforts to be able to provide the growers with innovative tools. We will thus contribute together to conserving our natural resources and be responsible with our planet. With these tools, we will also be able to provide and bring cleaner crops to the table of each of our homes. "
