ChinaOn December 26, Lier Chemical announced the shutdown of the glufosinate technical production line in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guang'an Lier Chemical, in order to further optimize the production process.
It was also aimed at realizing a smooth integration with the methylphosphoric dichloride project in order to enhance the technological level and the competitiveness of the product.
The shutdown for integration in the Guang'an Lier Chemical production line will last for an estimated period of three months.
The shutdown will also help enhance the market competitiveness of the glufosinate technical of the company, which will further improve the profitability of the company. Moreover, although the company has made prior preparations, the shutdown will still cause a decline in the production of the glufosinate technical, which accordingly, will have an adverse impact on the company's business performance in the first quarter of 2020.
