On 15th December, the environmental impact assessment of the annual 17,000-ton pesticide intermediate projects of Gansu Shiji Dekun Chemicals passed an expert review organized by the Jiuquan Environmental Engineering Assessment Center.
The project, which received an investment of Yuan248 million yuan, covers a land area of 114,666-square meters, with a new floor area of 30,000-square meters. The project is being constructed over three phases, with phase one receiving an investment of Yuan68 million to build a 4-acetylamino-6-methyl-3-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,2,4-triazine production line with an annual capacity of 2,000 tons. Phase two will receive an investment of Yuan100 million to produce 3,000 tons of pinacolone annually, as well as 2,000 tons of dichlorophenone, 3,000 tons of thiocarbazide and 1,000 tons of 2-chloro-5-(chloromethyl) pyridine, scheduled for completion by October 2022. Phase three is planned to receive an investment of Yuan80 million to produce 1,000 tons of 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-3-pentanone annually, along with 1,000 tons of 2-(methylthio)-5-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole and 2,000 tons of pivaloyl chloride production facilities, scheduled for completion by December 2024.
The completion of all the above phases will generate sales of Yuan700 million, with an annual tax of Yuan22 million, creating over 100 jobs.
