Flagchem’s Trinexapac technical production method awarded invention patent

ChinaThe invention involves the utilization of various pKa values of trinexapac and impurities in crude trinexapac using alkalis of differing strengths to regulate pH value, readily and efficiently producing high-content trinexapac at high yields. Therefore, the new method is simple and easy-to-manage with shorter processing times at lower operating temperatures, making it suitable for mass production.
Trinexapac reduces the level of gibberellic acid in the bodies of plants that causes growth to slow down. It also inhibits internode elongation, reduces plant height, increases stem diameter and stem wall thickness, enhances development and elongates roots and secondary roots. Accordingly, crops grow more robust and become more lodging-resistant. It can also be quickly absorbed and transplanted by plant stems and leaves and is widely applied to food grains, such as wheat, along with winter rape and lawn.
