Sevencontinent: Glufosinate-ammonium boosts growth, five new products to be released

ChinaAt the conference, Zhou gave a briefing of the rapid development of Sevencontinent over the last few years. In 2016, the sales revenue of the company reached Yuan1.6 billion; in 2017, it reached Yuan2.4 billion; and in 2018, it reached Yuan3 billion. In the first 10 months of 2019, the sales were continually on the rise. Among the top 100 pesticide enterprises in China, Sevencontinent jumped from the 20th place to the 12th place.
Zhou said that the exports of Sevencontinent are stable on the list of the top 15 of China, its formulation business reached over Yuan100 million in 2017 and Yuan180 million in 2018, which is expected to reach Yuan300 million in 2019. The products contributed to the sale of nearly 8,000 tons of Glufosinate-ammonium formulations and 3,000 tons of triazole formulations.
At the conference, Sevencontinent presented five new products which will be launched successively at a later date. These new products include 1) herbicides glyphosate 30% + Glufosinate-ammonium 6% AS and Glufosinate-ammonium 30% + dicamba 3%; 2) fungicides trifloxystrobin 10% + tebuconazole 20% SC, pyraclostrobin12.8% + boscalid 25.2% SC and pyraclostrobin 15% + difenoconazole 15% SC. Sevencontinent is dedicated to the research and development of novel formulations and has made technical reserves for the production of synergistic suspension formulation, dry suspension, microcapsule suspension and seed coating agents. Among them, synergistic suspension has already been released for application to some products.
Sevencontinent's Shandong Yisheng production base possesses an annual 7,500-ton Glufosinate-ammonium technical production capacity and four automatic formulation production lines, which can produce 25,000 tons of glufosinate-ammonium AS each year. The production base has sufficient capability to fully support the Glufosinate-ammonium development strategy of the group company.
