SRF said in the press note on Thursday that it has commissioned and capitalised a facility to produce agrochemical intermediates at Rs166cr.
“This is in continuation of our letter dated Feb 4, 2019, informing Board's approval for setting-up of a facility to produce agrochemical intermediates at an estimated cost of Rs140cr,” the company said in the press note.
There has been a cost overrun in the project due to change in the original design and installation of additional effluent treatment equipment, the company said.
This is to report that the aforesaid project has been commissioned and capitalised at a cost of Rs166cr, it added.
SRF Ltd ended at Rs2,884.95, up by Rs88.6 or 3.17% from its previous closing of Rs2,796.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs2,803.40 and touched a high and low of Rs2,891.15 and Rs2,760 respectively.
