Beijing Multigrass seeking strategic partnership for spinosad and gibberellic acid

Its subsidiary Baicao Biotech Co., Ltd is engaged in research and production of two major biological fermentation-based pesticides: gibberellic acid and spinosad technical and formulations. For the purpose of enhancement of the titer and purity of gibberellic acid and spinosad, Bio-Max Technology lnstitute has cooperated for long years with top technical institutions at home and abroad in strain improvement and process optimization, having figured out proprietary strain improvement and process optimization techniques. The proven high-purity gibberellic acid technical production line, which has an annual capacity of above 100 tons, has been running satisfactorily. The product enjoyed a good reputation at home and abroad, attributable to its “advanced equipment, stable quality and minimum impurity”. Since the market release of gibberellic acid technical by Beijing Multigrass in 2017, it sells well in more than 60 countries and regions. Its EC and tablet formulations have evoked a strong repercussion in the market, due to the good effects achieved for application to mangoes, citruses, dates and grapes.
Spinosad is a macrolide pollution-free and high-efficient bioinsecticide, being a novel environment-friendly pesticide. It has the safety advantage of biopesticide and the fast insecticidal efficacy of chemical pesticide. Beijing Multigrass began research and development of spinosad from the beginning of this century, since then the strain titer and extraction process have become more and more mature following the space mutation and long-time process improvement. Beijing Multigrass has started mass production of spinosad technical.
Since the operation of Baicao Biotech, it has made great innovations in production technology and process, which have also contributed greatly to the biopesticide development and environmental protection as well as energy conservation. The new sustained-release formulations and solvent screening of OL and EC developed by the company has effectively reduced VOC emissions.
At present, the gibberellic acid and spinosad of Beijing Multigrass have been registered in a number of countries, GLP data of the two products technical have been made available. It is planning to look for strategic partners worldwide.
