Barenbrug USA appoint Austin Lanzarone as Director of Sales for Professional Divisions

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Austin Lanzarone to our team as Director of Sales for our Professional Divisions. As Director of Sales, he will be striving to deliver an exceptional experience to you, our loyal customer. Austin will be responsible for managing the tactical and strategic direction of the sales objectives within our professional turf, forage, and export sectors.

With over 18 years of experience within the professional turfgrass industry, we are certain Austin will be a valuable asset to our diverse team. Since he graduated from the University of Kentucky with his degree in Plant and Soil Sciences, Austin has been heavily invested in the turfgrass industry. He started his career as an assistant superintendent in Lexington, Kentucky and also

worked with a regional chemical and fertilizer distributor analyzing soil and recommending the best chemical and fertility programs to golf courses in the state. After five years in this position, Austin transitioned to a fertilizer company in Denver, Colorado, where he provided a comprehensive service to businesses in the ethanol industry. From sourcing the fertilizer, setting up the logistical support, and delivering the product all in a timely manner, Austin strived to ensure his customer’s plants remained operational.

Most recently Austin comes to us from DLF Pickseed, where he served as the Key Accounts and Brand Manager. Applying his previous experience, Austin worked to provide the best possible service to their key accounts all while safeguarding the brand integrity of each product in the marketplace. Regarding his new position at Barenbrug USA Austin states, “Barenbrug USA is well known for their unique technology and branding in the industry. I’m excited to come on board and work with an amazing team and assist in leading the professional divisions.”
