According to its semi-annual report,
Jiangsu Suli recorded a consolidated business income of Yuan954 million in the first half of 2019, an increase of 17.54% up year on year, and a net profit of Yuan171 million attributable to its shareholders, up 12.09% year on year.
The report noted the completion of the construction of a 15,000-ton DBDPE workshop within Suli’s Baili Chemical Works, which is now being equipped and commissioned. Suli’s other construction project in Ningxia has also started.
Suli is a leading manufacturer of chlorothalonil and azoxystrobin pesticide technicals, as well as the fire retardant, DBDPE. Its main products are all supported by self-supplied intermediates, ensuring efficient production, stable product quality and the company’s reputation.
In the report, Suli also announced its plan to establish a subsidiary in Davao City, Philippines, to support its exploration of the Southeast Asian market, facilitate its product registration process, enhance its presence in the international market, and increase its competitiveness and profitability. The subsidiary will be named “Suli Agricultural Science and Technology (Philippines) Ltd,” and will have a registered capital of US$200,000. Suli will hold 99.95% of shares in the subsidiary.
