Pilarquim and Ferquido together launch new fungicide ACTICY in Dominican Republic

ChinaAfter a year of extended work between both the companies, in May 2019, Pilarquim, under a local company named Activbio del Caribe, SRL, associated with Fertilizantes Quimicos Dominicanos, SRL (Ferquido), scheduled the first pre-launch event for a new fungicide: ACTICY, “lo último en defensa contra Tizón, Mildiu velloso y Moho Azul” in Constanza, Dominican Republic. More than 30 farmers and distributors attended the launch ceremony to learn about ACTICY’s characteristics and advantages.
ACTICY “lo último en defensa contra Tizón, Mildiu velloso y Moho Azul”, is a systemic fungicide with protective, curative and preventive action that controls oomycetes, formed by two active ingredients that are already known in the market but not mixed, which makes the new product more exciting for vegetables, potatoes, tomatoes and the tobacco market.
Canxian MU, Chairman of Pilarquim, and the technical team in Central America for Pilarquim were all in the Dominican Republic to attend the event, and took the opportunity to visit local farmers to discover more about their daily routines with regard to the usage of products, agrochemicals, fertilizers, systems, weather, etc. to find a potential market. Based on this, Pilarquim will develop more products to help farmers get a better harvest.
Fertilizantes Quimicos Dominicanos, SRL (Ferquido), has an over 60-year-old history and is one of the biggest and most important local agrochemical and fertilizer companies.
