Seed meets Technology: focus on cabbage, attention for crop protection developments

At the end of September (week 39), the entire (inter)national seed sector will return to Seed Valley in West Friesland to discover the latest seed developments. Seed meets Technology also falls under these days: it's the technology meeting point during week 39.
Seed meets Technology offers a platform to companies that are active in the seed industry. Participants show their latest products and services here, from seed processing machines to laboratory suppliers. Everything is done to set up an innovative, seed-oriented and informative event.
Interactive booths and lectures
The event this year takes place from Tuesday 24 up to and including Thursday 26 September 2019. In addition to a fair with interactive booths, there is also a program with various lectures about, among other things, climate monitoring, cultivation on water and the use of sensors.
This year, the cooperation with Plantum (Dutch branche organisation for breeders and young plant growers) was sought to set up a strong program. In addition to the indoor program, new varieties are explained on the outdoor fields in dozens of crops and cultivation on water systems and crops can be found. In short: everything in the field of seed in one place.
The event can be visited free of charge, but for both a visit to the fair and for visiting program sections, an online registration is required in advance. Registration is easy via www.seedmeetstechnology.com.
Participation as an exhibitor
As a company, it is still possible to participate as an exhibitor at the event, but be quick. In addition to a booth or demo field, options for participation also include the rental of a trading table. In that case, companies can determine themselves on which day(s) they are present and will pay a fixed amount per day.
