Koppert Biological Systems acquires Natural Enemies

NetherlandsKoppert Biological Systems announces it has gained a new partner in Natural Enemies. The Natural Enemies brand has built a reputation within the cannabis industry as a leader in chemical-free pest management. This reputation now supported by Koppert can ensure growers access to Koppert’s line of products as well as Koppert’s knowledge in horticulture.
“We are very excited and grateful that the Natural Enemies team has joined Koppert Biological Systems. Since 2014 Shane and his team have developed and grown the Natural Enemies name into one of the leaders in the industry. With the addition of the Koppert supply chain, our goal will be to take what they have developed and work jointly to expand it,” Ryan Hill, General Manager of Koppert USA.
Ryan Hill further detailed how this partnership encompasses one of Koppert’s core values: “One of our core values is that ‘we work for growers’ and with this joint venture we are confident that we can provide our clients with even better service while at the same time keeping our focus on quality products.”
Natural Enemies was founded in 2014 when owner Shane Young saw the emerging cannabis market and the need to help educate cultivators on the effective use of BCA's (Biological Control Agents). Therefore, there was a natural merger as the two companies both strongly believe in using biocontrol products to reduce chemicals. The two companies also share the ambition in educating growers about the benefits and the patience needed for development of a successful IPM (integrated pest management) program.
