Wilbur-Ellis to exclusively distribute Plant Health Care’s Employ in the US

Plant Health Care PLC said recently it has signed a distribution agreement with US agriculture distributor Wilbur-Ellis Co LLC, for exclusive access to Employ, a commercial brand of Plant Health Care's technology Harpin.

Wilbur-Ellis, which markets and distributes agricultural products, will be the exclusive distributor for Employ for applications to speciality crops in the US.

Harpin works by triggering the plant's own self-defence systems in order to stimulate healthier growth and eventually increased crop yield.

"With this new agreement, Employ will have the power of a major distributor in the US specialty crop market, for the first time. Wilbur-Ellis has great trust and respect with specialty crop growers and will be a great partner to expand the growth of Employ on these crops. This latest distribution agreement with Wilbur-Ellis for specialty crops further reinforces Plant Health Care's commercial expansion in the US," said Plant Health Chief Operating Officer Jeff Tweedy.
