Insight into microalgae-based biostimulants - Douglas Wagner, CEO at AlgaEnergy N.A., will speak on one of the largest biopesticide and novel fertilizer conferences in China

SpainDouglas Wagner, CEO at AlgaEnergy, is going to make a speech on the 2nd Biopesticides and Novel Fertilizers International Summit (BioEx 2019), sharing the insight of development and application for microalgae-based biostimulants.
Microalgae applied in modern agriculture increase nutrient availability, maintain soil fertility, and enhance plant growth. Some species provide nitrogen fertilization through biological nitrogen fixation, interconversion and mobilization of different forms of nitrogen. And some species may produce growth hormones, polysaccharides, antimicrobial compounds and other metabolites that are beneficial to crops and microbial communities in soil.
