Stonehaven Consulting has announced two internal promotions with the aim of further strengthening the leadership team at the global life sciences management consultancy firm.
Benjamin Wilhelm, has been appointed as a Partner and Adrian Grosu is now a Junior Partner.
Stonehaven Consulting Founding Partner and CEO, George Gunn, explained the decision: "We are delighted to be able to recognise the important contributions Benjamin and Adrian have made to the business so far. Both promotions are well merited. We know that with their talent and commitment they will make our team even stronger in their new roles; helping us support the bespoke needs of our life science clients."
Benjamin, formerly a Junior Partner, has been with the company for over two and half years. During this time, he focused on topics such as commercial strategies, organizational restructuring or managing market access initiatives for large Human Health Diagnostics companies, also strategy development and fundraising for Start-ups in both Animal Health and Human Health.
Prior to joining Stonehaven Consulting he worked as a business consultant with McKinsey & Company for three years. During this time, he developed strategies across several business functions (Corporate, Commercial, R&D and Operations) for companies spanning the entire Health Industry (Pharma, Life Science and Health Insurance). He received his PhD in molecular Neuroscience from the University of Göttingen (Germany) where he investigated the molecular architecture of a synapse.
Adrian, previously an Engagement Manager, has been with Stonehaven Consulting for over two years and has extensive consulting experience in Pharma. In his former role he focused on topics such as growth strategies, commercial due diligence/ M&A support, market entry for Generics players or IPO preparation for companies of different sizes in both Animal Health and Human Health.
Prior to joining Stonehaven Consulting, he worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company for two years and with Deloitte Consulting for five years. During this time, he worked on various strategy and operations related topics, such as commercial strategy, M&A screening and valuations, restructuring, carve-outs and merger integrations for companies in both Human Health and Animal Health. Adrian holds an MBA with concentration in Finance from London Business School and a PhD in Management from The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
